Novice Race Program
Novice Men/Women: Any male/female paddler who is a first year paddler and has not raced in any race sanctioned by a recognized outrigger association in any prior year.
Practices Start March 10th!
looking for a unique and fun workout? Outrigger paddling is an ancient form of transportation that is both fun and great exercise! practices are free during March and april.
If the season has alrady started than come check out our Off Season Paddling option.
for all new paddlers, practices will follow the schedule below.
Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 PM
sundays @ 7:30 am - 10:30 AM
What should I bring to practices?
Bring water, sunscreen and clothes to get wet in! We provide instruction, paddles and the canoes!
WHERE DO WE MEET?
We meet at the parking lot on the north side of Vacation Isle before entering Paradise Point. We will gather in the parking lot before walking towards the canoes past the North Cove Public Beach that is a part of Paradise Point. Paradise Point is located at 1404 Vacation Rd, San Diego, CA 92109. You must turn right before entering the resort.
