Outrigger Iron Championships

Kai Elua has hosted the race for over 30 years and over the years, the number of participants have increased steadily each year. As a result of Kai Elua’s strong relationship with the City, Kai Elua OCC is permitted to host Iron Champs in the summer months after Memorial Day weekend and prior to Labor Day weekend as it was grandfathered in by the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation department. Iron Champs provides SCORA with a race in Southern California for the ending of Iron Race season.
